40: meeting

I spent part of the weekend reading a book on leadership and then taking the stuff from the book and applying it to my job. wrote it all out on a piece of newsprint on my drawing board; big picture goals, ideal world situations, my role, what i need to improve, how i'm supposed to do it. then talked to udo about it. then monday i presented the entire thing in the leadership meeting. i think people were surprised. but i was the most surprised in myself and thankful i had the nerve to do that. very unlike me.
